Not wrong Hybrid. Never thought it would be anywhere near what it will end as. I just wanted a nice stock daily driver but with the state of the car and what needed to be done to fix it coupled with Steve's encouragement being infectious (I'm blaming him) who nows what it will eventually be. One thing is for sure it will be a beast. But Read the Manual Read the Manual Read the Manual

Laughing
I'm planning to send mine to him to fix my rain gutters, but now I'm scared that it will come out with more than repaired gutters Laughing

Mine is going to come to a screaming halt though because it looks like my Mrs might accept a job for $10k less + wedding in October = me with no money 😒

Steve will do what you want him to do mate but he does take pride in his work. Tell the missus to find a job paying $10K more and postpone the wedding for a year or two and you are sweet.
Tell her that you need the car finished so you can use it as a wedding car and save some money, surely that will work.

OK, it has been a couple of months since I have had the chance to post any pics on this thread. Most the time has been spent on buying suspension parts etc so not much has been happening to the car.

I dropped in to see Steve today at St Marys Prestige and I am glad to say I am able to posts some new pics on the progress. See below

How sexy is that last shot. I am so happy we made this mod. πŸ˜‚

Cheers Ralph, the one piece glass only comes in the green tint at the moment not clear so I am waiting till the clear version comes out. I have changed the colour again recently so Steve is going to make up a batch and shoot a panel to see what it looks like.

Still a long way to go but it is nice to see it look sort of like a car again.

Is the 69' model next to you and also in the back ground - 'Qwik 429'????

I'll let Steve answer that but I don't think so. Steve is doing so work on QWK429 but from memory there is two 69's he is doing and I think this is for another client, but I could be wrong.

The one on the right is Hellanour, Steve's beast. He is back on it so hopefully both may be finished around the same time. That would be cool.

Cheers Lee, I really like how it came out. I am hanging to see yours assembled. I saw it when it came out of paint and she looked bloody beautiful.

The 69 next to Brandy isnt QIK429. It is a similar themed thing though, its pretty much ready for paint just waiting on further instruction from the owner of it.

QIK429 is off on a little adventure getting its brakes sorted, more will be revealed in the next AMFM issue.

The other sad sack next to it is my car.
