Can anyone tell me the paint formula for the Guardsman blue as used on the 1964 Mustang and on the Shelby stripe over the Wimbledon White.
Having real trouble getting it mixed here
Cheers

Have a look in the tech section and download the PDF colour chart. There is a BMW colour that is a match.

I had my Guardsmen Blue acrylic lacquer mixed up locally at my paint shop. How we did it was identify the 2 pak paint formula code and get a small sample and spray it on a sample card and then the guy at the paint shop used the card sample to custom mix up the exact colour in acrylic lacquer in Guardsmen Blue. I have the acrylic lacquer formula to share with you if you wish. Check out Le Mans stripes in the photo attached.

Tell them to mix this

BMW paint code "290" this should be a match, according to the Dupont data base
