I don't think I can afford much paint / body work at the moment Gold. Ive probably done something that many may consider sacrilege, I'll post some more body shots up soon, but to spare the suspense -
I got sick of the faded burnt amber paint and being asked why ford produced a cat-shit brown mustang.
I looked into paint and got a sweet quote. The dude doing me a favour told me $20,000 for a daily driver quality paint job.
I began looking into paint alternatives and found that 3M did a gloss gold wrap that looks very similar to sunlit gold.

Sooooooooo yeah... I kinda now have a vinyl wrapped 67 mustang...
So now in the immortal words of Breaker Morant

I should say, it's not forever, just till I can scrape together enough duckets to pay for paint.

Okay, so after doing a bit o research and trailing a few different options / brands I found that 3M DiNoc 1080 is the best product on the market.

don't ask me what all the crap after 3M stands for...

Now this still requires a lot of prep. I tore down most of the car to ensure that it looks as good as possible, and even then I mucked up a few bits.

So heres a few

Yes Kerry same Borgche your storing all that gear for. Since you inspected my car some time ago for that RHD conversion I've manage to;
- get hitched
- have a kid, josh is now 10 months and is shaping up nicely he loves cars
- build a new home
- move the family into the new home
Currently landscaping and finishing off "Patience"s new home. Decided to call the car patience as that's exactly what she's been.

Started my build thread yesterday. Damn I took bugger all photos and most of the ones I had got lost in a computer meltdown.

Cheers
