I have a freind here in WA that bought a then new WB holden ute in Melbourne and drove it to WA on a permit. Got stopped in Norseman I think it was and made to register the car... So it may be worth a look, just take the trailer in case.

Maybe a few of us can drive back with you - a mini run down south. I can visit family in Port Macquarie.

I will someday think of something clever to say.

You're a lot closer than the WA boys Kerry

Could always come up for a long weekend to assist in the first oil change!

Any excuse...

It looks rain proof which is needed living in Coffs.
I am rather envious I would love to have that space - imaging the projects I would likely not ever finished........

You will enjoy driving the car back from QLD (if that is the plan).

I think that would be stretching the temporary rego from Bris to Coffs, so the plan is to trailer it back and drive it to get the slip done.

All the work is done in the downstairs garage - rainy weekends are lost down there.

I sold my unregistered but immaculately roadworthy/restored WB Statesman to a bloke from Moranbah,QLD- 18 hour straight drive from my place. I organised him a 7 day permit from the RTA (cost stuff all). Since I was in NSW & he's from QLD, it was the easiest way to avoid the interstate rego hassles/costs.
I think they had 24 hour or 7 day permits available at that time.

Amen.

Original colour was Caspian Blue, which was nice but I prefer this.

Not sure if anyone agrees with me but certain colours/stripes/ wheels suit body styles better than others in my eyes.

To me, coupes look better with nice straight colour/ wheels and brightwork.

Plus I prefer minimalist with a couple of different touches in the pipeline.

I knew you'd like it Hybrid - but you also like Android Poke

Cheers

Yes Ralph - Shaun was talking to his supplier, so I told him to get it mixed.

That rainbow in my head is finally gone :rotfl:

Now - What colour for the interior & engine bay....
