Well my water supply is rainwater straight off my mancave roof and has a mustang grill leaf deflecter then filtered through a K&N high performance air filter, so mine is full of awesomeness Cool

However there is an industrial stip 20km away that could be polluting it Impatient

Hi Everyone,

An update regarding the hoists going to Vic (Dandenong South), QLD (South Gladstone), ACT (Fyshwick) and SA (Thebarton).

The freight has been booked and subject to the whims of the silly season, I'm hopeful that the hoists will depart NSW tomorrow.

Most of the hoists have left Sydney.

FYSHWICK consignment - no update available - looks like its still in Sydney with my hoist.
THEBARTON consignment - 2 out of 3 have departed Sydney (going via Melbourne).
SOUTH GLADSTONE consignment - has left Brisbane for Gladstone.
DANDENONG SOUTH consignment for jbrucem1 has departed Sydney.

E-Go will contact you (via mobile) when your consignment is ready for pick up.

Hoists arrived safe and sound in Adelaide today, picked them up this morning.

They look like very, very solid units. Towing them home and unloading in 40 degree heat today was a challenge.

Thanks to Steve for making these units available and to Jonn for organising the freight. Much appreciated.

That's great news, 3 down 5 to go.

Sadly the track and trace facility that is accessible via my account seems to lag reality, it currently shows your hoists are still somewhere between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Good stuff. Glad they arrived. Let me know if you are missing any arms. We had a pallet with some extra arms on it & we assume they are for the clear floors.

Picked up the hoist from the freight yard this afternoon.
A big thanking you muchly to all involved in making this happen.
However I think I may have a home for some of those spare arms.
The skid arrived with one post bolted in a frame over the other. The bottom post looks to be packed with ram, arms and other assorted bits but the top post is basically empty. In fact the top post is inverted and mine arrived with the ram falling out through the wrap and the top pulley from the ram lying loose on the ground. Looks like perhaps each post is wrapped seperately with all it's components but they mistakenly placed the top post upside down in the skid and all the componenets fell through the wrap which might explain the extra arms you are left with.
I wont be able to confirm this until I unload the skid from the trailer and thats not going to happen until I finish pouring the footings.
Anyone else with the floor hump style two post please check and confirm.

Ok, that is interesting. We will definitely need confirmation as to where the arms belong. One of the hump two posters has been set-up already & it was all complete. Once you have it unpacked fully let us know please. The way they were packed was a bit confusing, I had to go down the the depot at Mascot on Xmas eve & try and sort what was what. I had a quick look at a few of the hoists & apart from the separate pump boxes didn't see any problems. I am now thinking the "spares" have come adrift sometime after leaving the factory & arrival in AU. At least they are all in one place, so we can send them off without too much trouble.

Just put our 2 post floor wired unit on the weekend and all was there. The 4 legs were packed in the bottom beam and the top "upside down beam only had the ram in it. All good and have been putting it to good use already.

A word of advise....Never get into a sword fight with Steve.....He has some slick moves!!!
Sorry that should read SICK moves!!!

I just went and checked the two clear floor hoists I got and they are both missing one arm each. My guess is they have slipped out of the end of the lower packed uprights which were not enclosed. I can't tell on the floor wired unit but they seem to be all there. Will check on Thursday when it gets picked up.

Not a big deal since my shed isn't even built yet.

Picked up my hoist today and got it home and safely into the Garage.

The in ground scissor lift is one sturdy and robust unit.

Thanks again Steve for your efforts.

This one is the portable scissor lift.

Lifting Height 880 mm Power Supply 380V/50Hz/3Ph or240v

This one is $1800.00 landed & cleared in Sydney.

Hey Guy's, I picked up two portable scissor hoists today. I'll post some pics later. These are 240v and have a hydraulic pump, all simple. However they both came with around 20 metres of clear plastic air line. Anyone know what the air line is for?
