Nassi - that original 4 pin plug you spliced into the Autowire harness had a faulty socket in the neutral start circuit. After a few continuity checks and some head scratching had it sorted - but it was good of you to keep us on our toes in any case whilst you were getting your beauty sleep. Haha

Damn, sorry about that. Embarassed
In my day things lasted a little bit longer, you just don't get that sort of thing on an older car. Rolling Eyes

Of course Moe, you have my number so make sure you give me a call when you have some dates set. I would be offended if you didn't!

Mike has a fully run in engine now.

My baseline timing was a bit off as the balancer marks are a little tough to read hence my timing was retarded. With a new temporary lead and a quick tweak to the timing break-in was wrapped up uneventfully. Temps were good, oil pressure sat in the 50 - 60 psi range with the only drops of oil from the plumbing of my temporary oil pressure gauge.

Home straight now Mike! Keep up the good work.

Great stuff Trav... Thanks for all your efforts and time. It is a precious commodity for me lately.

Really happy with the current progress. I have quite a list to keep plugging away at such as engine electrical tidy up, steering column to be bolted up properly, brakes test, gearbox oil leak (and cooling tubes - oops!), interior instal, dash cluster, panels, general electrical hook ups, tyres... Etc

Then there's my new garage to finish off, ensuite renovation, the old WWII WLA Harley project and on it goes....

Again, awesome milestone reached tonight and every confidence it will see me thru many many miles!

Hey there Cage, more shit on my plate than the bottom of a dog kennel mate.... Very time poor with a number of other projects on the go. Tack on a house move early in the year and job change and just the same old "life" stuff to tackle and it makes for a very time poor home life.

I am also a little challenged in getting pics and vids uploaded but do promise I will try and get something up soon.
