Yeah that's the neater way to do it. Mine was hidden behind the throttle body/filter and brace.

I run one of those little filters. It makes a cool sound when the IAC is open.

Got home today and my new shifter had turned up, also grabbed a set of these UPC Brakes from an E-bay auction $650 398 mm BA falcon rotors PBR Holden calipers hubs, hoses CNC brackets etc

$650 for the lot you cant go wrong, Ill put some EBC pads in them I think though. sorry typo on the brakes they are 298 BA rotors to fit in the 15" Torque thrusts non the less good value

the QFM HPX and A1RM are fantastic pads also. I have the HPX, but might go to the A1RM once the pads wear out a little.

I still have the UPC pads in mine and they seem fine.
I will put some good ones in one day though - will be interesting to see the difference.

Good price Shaun. That's what I paid for mine too - I kept only bidding at the base price. It took months, but eventually I found one that nobody else bid on.

only took me 2 goes, I spoke to Woody at fataz comp engines and he said the QFM pads lacked initial bite on the Trans-am cars and they now use EBC

They are the same as my RRS brakes, that looks like a good score.

What master are you going to use with them?

With my setup you really have to mean it to lock the brakes up. They don't feel really grabby at all and are scary when you get out of something tiny and Japanese like the Mrs Swift Sport.

XB falcon dual diagram booster and 1" ford master cylinder, falcon pedal box so all the ratios are correct, the piston ratio on these works out similar to XF calipers. so hoping
it will be ok. EBC pads bite pretty well normally

I will try EBC next I think. I am running the same MC but an aftermarket dual 8" booster.

If l recall correctly you mentioned a brake package using corvette calipers the trans am cars run that fit in a 15" wheel do you know the cost of those by chance..?

yes they run Willwood Vette 6 pistons and rotor, the issue is the custom alloy hubs are expensive works out well over 2K. Though they are changing the calipers to a custom made one so they are more competitive in Touring car masters. I maybe able to buy the old Willwood calipers cheap, If Lee could make some hubs to run BA falcon rotors that would work.
