Dump ford ecu and go megasquirt. There is a plug and play option.

Drove it to work this morning. Worlds most boring log on the way to the service station to get fuel.
Then afterwards there's a nice hill that I opened it up a bit to get it on boost just to make sure the FPR is rising rate as it should be.

Forgot to log that part didn't I? Laughing

How are you connecting to Megadroid? I have a rooted Android base media player I can't get to connect through my FTDI based usb-serial.

I have a serial to bluetooth adapter (bt-232b-e) permanently plugged in to my MS2.

No plug and play for the later 106 pin eecv's which is what I have. Plus, i'd prefer to do all the wiring myself anyway to make sure it's neat.
It's on my list

New log taken on the way home.
AFRs look much better. Pressure is OK, but I don't think my rising rate is working.
Might have to pull apart the regulator and see if something is stuck or broken. Pressure rises, but seems to be after I close the throttle and boost drops off, not the other way around.

Cool - I agree regulator appears it is not adjusting pressure due to vac or boost. Good work doing it.

I had been putting this off because I knew it would be a shit of a job, but decided to bite the bullet and finally change my exhaust gaskets that had been leaking for a while - mostly when cold.
During the week, I bought some rocker cover gaskets because it's pretty much impossible to work on my exhaust without removing the rocker covers. Rubber ones with the steel reinforcement. I had been intending to buy felpro ones for about $80 I think they were.
Then I came across some from an ebay seller I had used before. Chinese stuff, but how hard can it be to make some gaskets?
The seller is stores.ebay.com.au/ROA...7675.l2563 (Roadstar Autoparts)

They were $23(!) plus $12 post - so $35 total, and they arrived the next day.

Turns out they fit spot on and should work just fine - so seem like a good cheap option, but time will tell if the rubber goes rock hard or some other issue pops up.
The only downside is they smelt a little like poo when I unpacked them Mr. Green . I told the seller as much when I left feedback, and they found it a little amusing and assured me they would smell some others to compare.

Anyhoo, I compared the new re-usable alloy gaskets (Proform) with the old ones. It's little wonder they wanted to blow out. You can see the black marks where they were restricting the flow into the headers.

Good as gold now - hopefully they stay leak free.

i found the rimflex exhaust gaskets to be the best.
Good work finding the ebay roker cover gaskets...interesting.

It was either those or the proform jobbies. Lots of good reviews from both, but after reading lots of people say the proforms cured ongoing leaking issues, I went that way.
If these fail, remflex it will be. Krisr is a fan of remflex also.

Right, so after the track sheetfight I have done the following:

- Contacted Dan @ silverfox about my slippy issue. He has recommended I convert over to his "MAC" valvebody and is sending me over the parts to do so.
- Purchased a couple of 300PSI transducers that I will use to log gearbox pressures
- Purchased the TinyIOX for my MS2 which will expand it with extra input/outputs so I can log the extra channels. Website: www.jbperf.com/io_exte...nyIOx.html

For the record, the proform exhaust gaskets seem to be holding together beautifully even after the track flogging.
