Laughing - hopefully you'll get more than enough passes in on Sunday to have enough data so you can re-mortgage the house for more bits

ants wins the prize.
I ran the car this afternoon and it could do no lower than 60PSI again.
I guess the extra voltage from the alternator pushes it over the edge.

I removed the return from the BA module and put it straight into a bucket and I could control the fuel pressure again.
So it seems like the return to the module (which in all fairness is pretty small - I think it's 5/16") is a restriction.
Since I'm not using the breather, I will split the return line into two, and use both the return port and the breather port in the module to return fuel and see how that goes.

I also pulled the ECU and did the mods to get fuel pressure logging working. I removed the knock sensor input to enable this. I still have a knock light in the dash.
I've ordered a 0-100PSI transducer so when that arrives I can start logging.

This is a screenshot of just bench testing the ECU

I actually had knock on the Micro as well, so could have done this too.
But the resets were a show stopper for the Micro.

Job done.
The pump sounds much happier now. I bored out the breather hole inside because it was quite small.
Will run the car tomorrow in the afternoon. It's a bit late now.
If I'm really lucky my transducer will arrive tomorrow and I can finish it off, but I'm not confident in that.
