We are going again with another shipment of hoists for anyone interested. The last go was a bit of an adventure & very educational. The costings will be different this time, but still fantastic value for what you get. Any interest please post here or shoot me a pm.

Love the idea of those portable scissor lifts. I'd be interested in one. Assuming they've got good fail safe mechanisms. 💀

They have a good safety setup. Unless you hook air up to it it wont release. There was a bit of interest from the WA guys last time but individual freight was a killer. If there is a few headed over it might make it more cost effective.

Rick - we did socialise this following my trip to China but as Steve said, there just wasn't quite enough interest to manage a direct shipment so the cost was not worth it.

I would still be interested if there is enough take up...

Do you reckon I could fit one in Steve? Maybe the missus could hang the washing on it.

Very happy with mine. I started all this last time. I ended up with a 2 post floor plate model, and it is the ducks guts, as it were. Very easy to assemble, and has been a godsend. I find myself using it for all sorts of stuff. Put my tandem trailer up on it to paint it a few weeks ago. Just get one!!!! Strong as buggery too, Not cheaply made by any means

Hi Steve,

Can you confirm minimum clear height required to install one of these? From previous posts, I thought it was around 3.3m?

Thanks.

Scott

Scott, do you want a floor wired or overhead?

I think it was a minimum of 10 but not sure if that was for the larger items to make up the bulk of the order with a couple of portables included...

It was about 10 to make shipping a 20ft container to Perth worthwhile. If there is under that then bulk road freight from Sydney might still be worth it. If I can get an idea on who wants what from over there I can try & get a bulk freight price.

Hi Steve,

I don't mind whether floor or overhead wiring. I am looking for something where I can store my 'stang on the hoist and park a car below at home. About to build a new garage and want to consider if incorporating a hoist is viable.

Thanks.

Scott
