Rick when you can see straight through the car as both qtrs are gone it feels like you have X-Ray vision. We are almost at the end of it though. Once the qtrs are done and the boot lid and extensions are modified (gone a shelby boot lid) then we can mock the car up and see how she looks. Just hit Steve with a slight modification of the top side scoop however so this will add some time.

I can't picture her to tell you the truth Rick. It will be a mixture of what I like about the mustang such as Shelby boot, cobra jet bonnet scoop, R type valance, custom modified top side vent, Nissen 300ZX seats wrapped in Mach 1 parchment trim, a bit of chrome here and there, B&M Quicksilver shifter just to name the obvious parts I know about.

Still have to finalise the colour but I have the wheels sorted which are Simmons deep dish B45's. Also need to consider the running gear and engine. I am starting to lean to a C6 with gear vendors overdrive attached to a 428 big block.

But there is still such a long way to go that I can't picture the dream yet. Once she is mocked up I am hoping that I will start to feel it.

Front view, the qtr has been joined short of the door appeture in the scoop area to keep the lines consistant.

Was a 67 coupe all that was available for that side in the short 1/4?

Yes, to get it same day 67 was it. As a sweetener they supplied a 68FB full qtr for the other side at the right price.

Yep, soon as I saw the weld line around the scoop area & thought that. Ahh the memories....
