Go it Lee , sounds fully hectik bro. Does it come with twin sub-woofers?

I too , am a ricer with a WRX. I feel as though I can still stand tall & hold my head up high. Having a Mustang muscle car in the shed is good back up in an argument though.

We have touched on this breifly but for a road car whats the best setup for a supercharger? Twinscrew or centrifugal?

Having a big block like powercurve sounds good but so does the high rpm rush of the centri.

If you want it to feel different to Q.. F2 ProCharger = Game Over.

If you're serious about supercharging.. take a drive out to York and speak to Mark

To build an under-stressed supercharged efi V8 are you better off starting from scratch with aftermarket parts or is a motor out of a falcon a more cost effective/ample solution?

8 PSI is nothing mate.. a stock engine should be fine with that.

Do you know the numbers the car is pushing kerry?
I'm not looking for a dyno queen but I want to build a car that has usable power on the higher side of life (as Steve said I don't seem to believe in half measures :rotfl:)

I don't have much experience with these cars so I don't know if 300rwhp or 500rwhp is considered usable...

At the moment I am thinking a AU 5.0 with a kenne bell at around 450rwhp.

I reckon that will be more than enough to scare the sh1t out of you on a damp day.
I have a stock 5.0 in my AU III, 220KW or about 300HP at the flywheel, it brakes traction in the dry and manages a 14.6 at the strip but very easy around town.
When yours is finnished can I have a go Drool
cheers.

That would be what the one in the avatar has. It has no EGR & an 80mm throttle body from memory, JBA shorties.

Give you an idea, went out in Ron's 351 roller 69 today. It gets to 100mph quickly (by 3rd gear with a 3.25 rear end). It has a 5 speed in it. Engine will go on a dyno as soon as it has a few hundred miles on it, expect about 450hp is in it.

Oh course we were on a private road, not wishing to be in breach of any road laws....

So do you think with a tweaked suspension setup, serious wheels and traction control (for any rainy days) we could handle some bigger numbers?

Thinking about a gearvendors for the rear to switch between a couple of selected rear ratios

Forget the traction control & learn to drive properly.. Poke

GV is hardly necessary, go for a run in Ron's car when you come over & you will be impressed with how it goes, esp on the freeway in 5th (about 1900/2000rpm at 115k)
