Well buggar me! In my day the chopper rotors used to rotate but I see you have twice as many as a real helicopter so it probably dosnt matter anymore. Laughing
I agree, piss off that Grant wheel they are a dangerous piece of gear. I'll get rid of mine eventually but hardly ever use the car these days.

Pardon my ignorance Nassi, but why are these things so dangerous?
BTW, I dont quite know what happened while in Perth, but I've got the bug, and got it bad.

There are doctors that specialise in that kind of thing. Penicillin, I hear, does wonders .... Poke

The Grant wheel as shown (I also have), I have seen them splinter very badly in an accident but I guess that might happen with any wooden wheel. My main aversion to them (only this style I will add), is that the bloody horn button is prone to leaping off the wheel on hot days. Let me tell you, a hot piece of chrome landing in your lap is no comparison to a hot pair of lips in the same area. This is an assumption on my part though, I have only experienced the Grant wheel in this situation.

Dump the bug, it will cost you money and never repay the effort you afford it. Laughing Go circuit, at least you can build a car for a single purpose hence reduce cost and improve enjoyment. JMO

Is that what the China trips are all about? Neutral

Probably.... cause what happens in China stays in China, they say. Laughing

Haven't had a chance to do an update for quite a while now ( damn work keeps getting in the way )

Over the last few months I've managed to finish the vinyl wrap up, muck around with a few paint options, got the 3/8 inch stainless fuel line installed, installed a Flaming River collapsable column in ( then out and shortened, then in, then out and shortened, then in once more ).

Thanks to a lot of help here I did finally get the tail lights and reverse lights squared away!

I'm finding that I start a job get sent away for work, forget exactly where I'm at, try to pick back up again and forget small things like lengths of steering columns...

More photos tomorrow gents.

Till then cheers and beers!

RKC

Cheeky interior shot. Absolute mess at the moment, but trying to make a decision on replacing my old air-con unit or installing an after market - which then stops me from installing the rest of the dash or anything that would impede the installation of the aircon unit.
