I don't know Lee I am not sold on those flutes. I reckon you can do better than these mate. Keep looking.

The ones on the 69 aren't the ones I'm thinking of cage or don't you like the vz ones either?

Don't like the 69 ones at all to be honest. I don't know Lee but I just reckon you can do better then these. Even if you fabricate or design some yourself and with the quality of the build I am guessing you want I just think there must be better options out there thats all.

It is obviously only my opinion so take it with a grain of salt but even these I think look better. Maybe with the indicator down the centre if that is what you want.

I wasn't a fan of the side vent's on the 69, it was the thing i liked least on that car. But there was so much going on i could overlook them. Was just showing an example of what flutes would look like on a mustang. Feel free to photo chop something you like on those pics, and see what its like. I have some ideas, of what might look acceptable, but i gotta find some time to sketch it up.

Agree guys the 69 ones dont look good. They are too long, too busy (with the two bars) and generally stand out too much.

The vz ones will hopefully be shorter, simpler with the single bar and because they are going on a black car i dont think they will stand out like a dogs balls (since the vents are black)

I am waiting until I get a set so I can model them up in 3d and put them on a model

I'll be interested in seeing the models......if they are the "super" kind

Thats a fair call Lee if the car is going to be black then they might blend in quite nicely. Looking forward to the mock up model.

I will have a set of VZ vents & flashers tommorow to try into my VE holes. I will get a pic & post it up then, if they fit.

I wonder if your builder likes the idea? Shrug :rotfl:

If it was me, I have something in mind (& it is not found on a production car) that would suit. I will show you next time you are here Lee.

Back to the shed & Q. Blasting tomorrow, weather permitting... πŸ˜‚
